Within the framework of EIGE’s work on the benefits of gender equality, EIGE is organising a second consultation meeting on the “Study on the Economic Benefits of Gender Equality in the European Union” which will take place on 26th September, in Vilnius

The aim of the meeting is to consult on the interpretation of findings and results of the modelling exercise to identity the economic benefits of gender equality in the EU.

The event represents a key step in EIGE’s approach to the assessment of economic benefits of gender equality, and the involvement of relevant stakeholders is a pillar of such an approach. Participants will have the opportunity to actively contribute to the discussions on the modelling results and revise the study results.

The meeting will also identify ways of linking empirical research findings to policy implications in a concise and comprehensive manner.

Participation is by invitation only.
