Three years ago EIGE joined the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence Campaign that calls for the elimination of all forms of violence against women. For the campaign of 2014 EIGE has prepared a series of events involving the major players.

The campaign will start in Vilnius on 25 November by launching two studies that are crucial for future work with violence against women:

  • Mapping Administrative Data Sources on Gender-based Violence against Women in the EU: Current Status and Potential for the Collection of Comparable Data” and
  • Analysing methodologies to determine the economic costs of gender-based violence in the EU”.
