Attached to the ministry of Social affairs and Health and to the ministry of Finance, the department of social security supervises all the institutions linked to the social security schemes. This department also collaborates with those institutions. It monitors the proper implementation of the decisions made by the government in those domains (including the benefits and services provided to families aiming at enhancing the reconciliation of work and family life).
