Women and men in Hungary, 2009-2010

The Hungarian Central Statistical Office collects and analyses statistical data on various topics of the Hungarian society. Many of these data are sex-disaggregated and some topics it provides statistical analysis about are gender-specific. The Office publishes a yearbook in which it gives an overview on the society with sex-disaggregated statistics. The statistical data are arranged into thematic chapters, but the publication does not provide any explanation or analysis of the data, only presenting them to the wider public. Previously the Office published these yearbooks with the ministry responsible for gender equality, but in the last few years the Office was the only publisher, and it did not make them available online for free.
