Flexible Work Arrangements and Female Employment in the Cypriot Labour Market
The EQUAL co-funded project “Kanalia Prosvasis” (Access Channels) on flexible working arrangements (FWAs) and female employment in Cyprus collected data both at individual and company levels. One of the conclusions was that women viewed some FWAs convenient for working mothers but also associated them with low pay and benefits. The employers’ position varied according to company size, the sector of the economy, the nature of work and type of working organization involved, and the company culture conveyed by the company’s leadership.
