Government policy that aims to reiterate responsibility for the implementation of GE and GM in the work of departments and ministries within the public administration.
Results and impact
A short reference to the work carried out in the implementation of gender equality policies and gender mainstreaming have to be included in each department's contribution towards the annual report of government departments. Moreover, for the purpose of assessing and monitoring the implementation of gender mainstreaming, Ministries, departments and entities within the public administration are required to submit a brief annual report to NCPE on the measures taken and the progress achieved in the sphere of gender equality and mainstreaming. First reports were received by NCPE in May/June 2013.

Government Departments and public sector organisations were reminded of their responsibility for the implementation of gender equality policies and gender mainstreaming as key objectives in performance reviews and to submit a brief annual report on their work on gender equality and gender mainstreaming to NCPE.
