Aims and objectives
The gender equality unit of the Ministry of higher education and research has developped a fully-fledged gender training plan, drawing upon the output of the EU-funded QUING project (Quality in Gender+ Equality Policies, FP6) and its OPERA stream dedicated to establishing quality criteria for gender traning. The diagnosis against which this training scheme has been developped pointed out the needs in terms of gender knowledge transfer and capacity building among various categories of actors: HR managers,researchers, research project leaders... It also called attention on the need for participatory and experiential methods, in order to maximize knowledge transfer and overcome potential resistances

7 GT actions have been carried out so far as part of the GT plan, as a pilot experience.

Contents/activities/services
A document articulating a diagnosis and a full set of planned gender training actions at different levels of responsibilities, has been elaborated with the support of external experts in GT. Two context-specific modules have been developped and implemented in direction of GE focalpersons and GE units' members within universities and research institutions. In addition, several GT sessions have been carried out, using the Gender in EU-funded research toolkit developped under an FP7 project.

Evaluation: The pilote phase of the GT scheme is being currently evaluated at the internal level (May, 2013)
