FGM, Asylum and Refugee Legislation in the UK

The paper is a follow up of the project on the legal provisions regarding FGM in 15 EU member states and strengthening of implementation in 5 member states. The report documents the UK programme activities and the seminar which sought to clarify and assess UK legislation and policies on FGM, asylum and refugees , share information on issues affecting asylum and refugee women and young people and key challenges . It also outlines obligations of the UK government in relation to gender duty and rights of women asylum seekers.
