Provision of free legal services and legal aid to women, victims of Gendered Based Violence (GBV) [Δωρεάν παροχή Νομικών Υπηρεσιών και Νομικής Βοήθειας (Legal Aid) σε γυναίκες θύματα έμφυλης βίας]
Services will be provided for every type of GBV suffered by women, independently of her nationality, ethnicity or legal status of immigration.
A Protocol of collaboration has been signed between the GSGE and the Bar Association of Athens, Patras, Heraklion and Lamia (where Women's Counseling Centers are operating) signed on 6.6.2012. It is anticipated that a Protocol of collaboration will be singed every time a new Counselling Center is established in a different Prefecture (Counselling Centers are provisioned to be establishes in all Prefectures of Greece).
Aims and objectives
Free legal services and legal aid to women, victims of Gendered Based Violence (GBV) that will be provided by lawyers, members of the respective Bar Association of each Prefecture where a GSGE's Women's Counseling Center operates.
