Female genital mutilation

This Bachelor's thesis project produced an informative booklet for all the health care professionals working in the field of girls' and women's health in Finland. The aim was to raise awareness of the issues surrounding the practice of FGM and by doing so to work towards eliminating the practice. The booklet aimed to provide information on the meaning of FGM, the types, psychological and physical implications and other related issues, and also listed other reading material and resources that can be accessed for additional information.
