The Institutional Status of Gender Equality Authorities in Finland

This study carried out in view of the Government Gender Equality Report describes the institutional mechanisms of Finnish gender equality policy and assesses their effectiveness. The study includes an assessment of the overall institutional prerequisites of the state administration for fulfilling its gender mainstreaming and gender equality obligations.
