Professional Secrecy Provisions
Conditions for disclosing information
Health professional (doctor), bound to secrecy, may give information about patient's condition if this is to save a patient's life or to prevent any harm to the persons around him/her. Health professional must immediately inform authorities, if a victim of a crime is a minor or a child.
Right or duty to report
Duty to report - if alleged victim is a child. Right to report - if alleged victim is an adult.
