Description of the contract

The European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE) envisages awarding a middle-value contract for the identification and selection of a set of good practices on gender mainstreaming in the European Green Deal policy areas.

Description of the requested services

EIGE launches this call for tender to contract a professional service provider that will revise EIGE’s methodology and criteria for identifying good practices and selecting, in a participatory manner, a set of good practices on gender mainstreaming in the European Green Deal related policies in selected EU Member States.

The geographical scope for the identification of good practice examples will cover national, regional, and local initiatives including those funded by EU Funds in selected EU Member States.

The contractor is indicatively expected to:

  • Revise EIGE’s criteria/methodology on good practices in a participatory manner.
  • Gather information on gender mainstreaming policies, programs, projects, methods, tools and approaches in the European Green Deal areas, at national, regional and local level in selected Member States.
  • Identify practices with potential on gender mainstreaming in the European Green Deal areas, in a participatory manner.
  • Co-organise and conduct a 1-day consultation meeting with key stakeholders, including members of EIGE’s Thematic Network on Gender Mainstreaming.
  • Assess and select good practices on gender mainstreaming in the European Green Deal areas, in a participatory manner.
  • Develop specific knowledge-based communication products.

The main outputs will be available on the Good Practices section of EIGE’s Gender Mainstreaming Platform. The collection of practices will also be available in PDF.

Description of the procedure

This ex-ante publicity is the first stage of the negotiated procurement procedure through which EIGE may award the above-mentioned contract.

All parties interested in providing the services described above should express their interest 400 words maximum, by e-mail, to procurement@eige.europa.eu with the subject reference: EIGE/2023/OPER/01, before 6 March 2023, 10:00 Vilnius time.

Economic operators who do not express their interest before the deadline and to the address above will not be invited to submit an offer. The latter restriction will not apply to the minimum of five economic operators directly invited by EIGE.

This publication constitutes no obligation for EIGE to launch the mentioned procurement procedure.
