Robert Biedron

Robert Biedroń is Chair of the European Parliament’s Committee on Women’s Rights and Gender Equality (FEMM). He has been serving as a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) since 2019. MEP is a human rights activist, politician and co-leader of the New Left, the third political force in Poland. Member of the S&D group in the European Parliament, he also sits on the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs, Committee on Budget and the Committee on Foreign Affairs. Prior to that, he served as Mayor of Słupsk and MP in the Polish Parliament. Robert has also founded human rights organisations such as the Campaign Against Homophobia and Institute of Democratic Thought.
