Panel debate: #3StepsForward towards an inclusive green transition
This panel debate aims to make links between the Gender Equality Index (in particular time domain) and the green transition. To this end, the session will explore the notion of green jobs/skills arguing for a wider definition that includes formal and informal care and work-life balance considerations.
Key questions the session will address:
- How can we ensure a gender equality perspective is part of green transition policymaking?
- What are the links between care work and green transition?
- And for a socially fair green future, what steps can we take in education, health, and care?
