Senior Gender Expert & Lawyer, Women Engage for a Common Future (WECF)
Dr Anke Stock is a lawyer and board member of Women Engage for a Common Future e.V. and the European Environmental Bureau. She has over 20 years expertise on gender issues and human rights, supports the wide WECF network with gender equality issues and works on (research) projects promoting gender equality in sustainable development. On the international level Anke is very active advocating for gender equality within multilateral environmental agreements (UNFCCC, UNECE Aarhus and CSW) as well as on EU level within the European Green Deal. She also has long-standing experience in consulting international organisations, such as the UN (UNDP, UNWomen, UNECE), on gender mainstreaming in, i.a., climate change policies, projects and programmes.
