Matei Lostun is an 18-year-old Romanian youth advocate and Founder & President of Extraordinary Youth, a youth-led initiative delivering peer-to-peer education on climate action, children’s rights, democracy, media literacy and wellbeing in underserved communities.
His work has reached 1,500+ young people across 25+ schools. He serves as a European Climate Pact Ambassador, WWF youth ambassador and Regional Focal Point for Western Europe and North America within the UN MGCY SDG16 Youth Caucus, and has represented young people in UNICEF, EU and international policy spaces.
His work focuses on inclusion, equal access to education and meaningful youth participation.
