Jana Dimitrova has over two years of experience in North Macedonia's civil society sector, working at both national and regional levels. Her work centers on policy research and civil society engagement, with a strong focus on gender equality and youth, particularly gender-based violence in public spaces and gender-mainstreaming within the EU accession process.
She has also led a local youth activist group in the implementation of non-formal comprehensive sex education sessions for youth across the country. Jana holds a bachelor's degree in International Relations from Utrecht University and is currently pursuing the Conflict and Development master's program at Ghent University.
