Pronouns: She/her

I’m Arianna Pearlstein, and my goal is to leave the world a bit better than I found it. Specifically, I aim to enhance the quality of gender data in the EU and humanitarian settings to ensure that policies are responsive to the experiences, needs, and realities of women, girls, and people of various gender identities.

In the past, this goal has brought me to Leiden University and Sciences Po, where I completed my bachelor’s and master’s degrees, respectively, in international affairs, both with distinction. More recently, this aim has brought me to UN Women, where I have worked on gender data collection, analysis, and advocacy in Europe, Central Asia, and the Middle East.

My primary areas of interest are the care economy, gender and underemployment, and gendered experiences in education.
