Camée Ptak is a Research Officer in the Research and Statistics Team at the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE) in Vilnius. She contributes to EIGE’s research and data collection activities, including the CARE survey and coordinated policy briefs on care and competitiveness, childcare and long-term care. She is a co-author of EIGE’s Gender Equality Index 2026 and contributed to previous editions. She also supports EIGE’s work on monitoring the implementation of the Beijing Platform for Action, most recently with a report on cyber violence affecting girls.
Before rejoining EIGE in 2025, Camée worked as a policy researcher on gender equality and human rights in the private sector. She also worked for Germany’s development cooperation agency, GIZ, where she advised the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development on gender equality and inclusion.
