Sofia Nandika Ahuja is a BSc in Politics and International Relations student at the London School of Economics. She has been appointed as a G7/G20 2024 Youth Leader for the track “Inclusion and Equal Opportunities,” where she is responsible for shaping policy proposals aimed at supporting women and refugees. Sofia is working at the Kenyan NGO Saidika Organisation, where she is the founder and responsible for the “Menstrual Cups Project”. This initiative seeks to provide women living in the Kibera area with menstrual products and healthcare; it has received recognition from the UNDP. Additionally, Sofia has served as a mentor to young refugees through the NGO Refugees Welcome and is a former UNHCR Young Champion, awarded for her dedication to integrating refugees into society.
