Ash Reitsma is an MA student in Literature and Society and a DEI Student Ambassador at Radboud University Nijmegen. They have contributed to creating a more gender-inclusive, queer-friendly campus by organising DEI events, advocating for more facilities for trans- and non-binary people, and co-founding a queer network on campus, through which they represent queer interests in policy making. As per November, they will also be a board member at their local chapter of COC Nederland, the Dutch LGTBQIA+-rights organisation.
