Almudena Salmerón is a project manager at GOPA Worldwide Consultants, specializing in international cooperation projects on climate change and natural resources. Within her work, she ensures that gender and intersectional perspectives are integrated, from project design to implementation. With extensive experience in managing EU-funded contracts, she maintains high standards in deliverables, resource mobilization, and stakeholder communication. Almudena has worked on projects like "Gender Gap Reduction in Urban Projects" (Bologna, Italy), an initiative funded by the EIB. She is currently pursuing a Master's in Women, Gender, and Citizenship and holds degrees in both International Relations and Translation & Interpretation. A native Spanish speaker, she is also fluent in English and French.
