Vytautas Peciukonis is a researcher at the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE), an EU agency. Since joining EIGE in 2018, Vytautas has managed several key projects, including EIGE’s EU-wide online survey analysing the involvement of women and men in unpaid care and social activities (the CARE survey) and an online panel survey across 10 EU Member States, examining gender disparities in working conditions, work patterns, and work-life balance among platform workers. Vytautas also led a comprehensive study on parental leave eligibility in EU Member States and is a co-author of EIGE's Gender Equality Index (2019–2023 editions).
Before his role at EIGE, Vytautas worked as a public policy researcher in the private sector, focusing on labour market and education policy.
