Thamara Cruz has lived in Belgium since 2010. She holds a degree in family sciences obtained in Belgium. Her career is marked by a deep commitment to social development and the promotion of the social community project in the indigenous artisans sector in her country of origin. In Belgium, she founded “SIEMPRE” is a nonprofit organization committed to fostering solidarity and establishing support networks. The name SIEMPRE serves as an acronym for Science, Integrity, Empowerment, Mobility, Education, and Renewable Projects - fields in which Latin American and Caribbean women are actively engaged. The organization’s mission is to promote visibility, inclusion, and integration for Latin American and Caribbean women in Europe, advancing their active participation in professional, political, and cultural spheres from a perspective rooted in human rights and equity.
