Milena Horiachkovska has over 15 years’ experience of work in civic sector in Ukraine - promotion of women’s economic empowerment and inclusion in decision-making, in particular “Women, Peace, Security” agenda. Since 2021 Ukrainian Reform Conference (URC Vilnius), Milena is involved in development of gender mainstreaming recommendations to national reforms and recovery. At the Ukrainian Women’s Fund she coordinates a EU supported project “Network of gender think tanks” that promotes gender mainstreaming in EU integration reforms and recovery policies and the development of Gender Equality Index for Ukraine. Milena is Master of Political Science and received special training on issues of gender mainstreaming, negotiation and mediation for civilian crises management.
