Pronouns: She/her

Kelsey is from Sheriff Street, Inner City Dublin and grew up in a working-class area. In 2020, she was giving the opportunity to do a Masters in Community and Youth work in Maynooth University while working as a youth worker at East Wall Youth. In her time at Maynooth, she worked on understanding the injustices in our society. Climate change became a topic that nobody could hide from as it is something which will affect us all. She particularly became interested in climate justice and how in some parts of the world they are affected by climate change on a much larger scale, yet they contribute to climate change on a much smaller scale than other places. She is currently working for Belong To youth service, the national LGBTQ+ youth organisation, as a youth worker.
