Outi Jalonen is an Analyst in the European Centre of Excellence for Countering Hybrid Threats (HybridCoE), where she leads a workstrand on Cognitive Strategies and Cultural Resilience. She is working to raise awareness of cognitive tactics used by hybrid threat actors and is currently focusing on the use of social identities as targets and tools for spreading disinformation. She holds a master’s degree in Military Sciences from the National Defence University of Finland and an MA in Languages & Humanities from the University of Helsinki.
