This session introduces the survey on gender gaps in unpaid care, individual and social activities conducted by EIGE in 2022. This survey and some methodological updates have helped update the time domain data for the first time in 7 years. 

Some questions the session will address: 

  • Why time use data is important for gender equality to move forward?   
  • What does survey data show? 
  • Are we bridging the gender care gaps? 
  • How can survey data inform conversations on gender equality and socially fair green transition?
