Annabel Wildschut

Annabel Wildschut works as a Research Officer in the Research and Indices Team of the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE) in Vilnius. She recently contributed to the 2023 edition of the Gender Equality Index with a thematic focus on the European Green Deal’s socially fair transition in the energy and transport sector. One of the co-authors of EIGE’s 2023 report on gender equality and gender mainstreaming in the COVID-19 recovery, she is contributing to forthcoming research for the Belgian Presidency centring on gender equality and financial independence. Before joining EIGE in 2022, she worked on advocacy and policy support on gender issues relating to climate change, trade policies and corporate social responsibility in Dutch civil society.
