Magdalena Gryszko-Szántó is Gender Equality Lead and Innovation Officer at the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), where she shapes and drives the gender equality agenda across Europe’s largest innovation network. With over 15 years of experience in gender equality, her expertise spans gender mainstreaming and women’s empowerment, with a particular focus on innovation, entrepreneurship and investment. Her previous experience includes work with UNDP, EIGE, Open Society Foundations, the Responsible Business Forum and women’s rights organisations. She has developed social campaigns and authored and co-authored numerous publications on gender equality and diversity management. During her tenure as Gender Equality Lead, the EIT was twice awarded First Prize in the EU Agencies Network Diversity & Inclusion Awards.
