Jolanta Reingarde leads the Research and Statistics team at the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE). Her team is responsible for the EU Gender Equality Index, the CARE survey, and annual progress reports in priority areas of EU gender equality policy.
She holds a PhD in sociology from Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas, Lithuania. Her research expertise spans gender equality policies in the EU and globally, gender equality measurement, and the links between gender equality, the economy, social policies, unpaid care, and work–life balance.
