Officials from EU candidate and potential candidate countries (IPA)1 will come together for the 7th time, in a meeting focused on EIGE's support to the advancement of gender equality in the Western Balkan countries and Turkey.

The meeting is organised under the framework of EIGE’s Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance Project and brings together statisticians, gender equality policy officers and decision-makers from the gender equality bodies in the region.

The aim of this Project is to contribute to better monitoring of several policy areas in the EU candidate and potential candidate countries in order to improve policy, legislation and practice, and gender equality progress in general.
