EIGE is attending the 'International Conference: The future of girls in STEAM'.

EIGE's Communications Assistant Alexandrina Satnoianu, will deliver an intervention on how the lack of women in STE(A)M has a negative effect on economic development and GDP growth.

Held under the auspices of the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the EU, this major International Conference is co-organised by the OECD and the Spanish Ministry of Education.

The conference features the STEAM Alliance for Female Talent’s “Girls on a scientific footing” - an initiative of the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, that aims to foster STEAM vocations in girls and young women and to reduce the gender gap.
