On 29 October 2010, the European Institute for Gender Equality will organise a joint awareness raising panel discussion with the Lithuanian Centre of Human Rights, in the context of the 4th human rights film festival "Ad Hoc: Inconvenient Films" (Vilnius, 21-30 October 2010).

Following the French film "La Domination Masculine" (Male dominance) projected in Pasaka cinema, the discussion will focus on gender equality issues in EU and Lithuanian context. It will be moderated by Mr Algis Davidavicius, an expert in issues of gender equality and men and masculinities.

The participants include the Institute's Director - Ms Virginija Langbakk, Member of Parliament - Mr Algirdas Sysas, Equal Opportunities Ombudsperson - Ms Ausrine Burneikiene, Director of Social Research Centre of Kaunas Vytautas Magnus University - Ms Jolanta Reingarde, Editor General of "IQ" journal - Mr Vladimiras Laucius.
