Aims and objectives

A report concerning the “National Action Plan. Gender Equality in the Labour Market” is to be compiled together with the report concerning reduction of discrimination against women, based on the national law BGBl. 837/1992

Results and impact

The “National Action Plan for Gender Equality in the Labour Market” (NAP) that was presented by the Federal Minister for Women and the Civil Service in June 2010.

Gender Equality in the Labour Market” provides four packages of measures (Diversification of education and career choices, Reducing barriers of labour participation, More women in top job positions, Reducing gender pay gap) with 55 precise measures and concrete mentioned responsible people and units.
