The European Institute for Gender Equality, the regulatory agency of the European Union, (referred to below as the contracting authority) is planning to award the contract(s) resulting from the above procurement procedure.

The overall objective of the contract is the implementation of survey data on gender gaps in unpaid care, individual and social activities (CARE) – 2nd wave data collection.

  • Specific objective 1: collecting comparable data in 27 EU Member States in order to contribute to the monitoring of the EU Gender Equality Strategy 2020-2025 and the European Care Strategy.
  • Specific objective 2: collecting new data for the revised domain of Time of the Gender Equality Index 2025, with the total sample size of 60 000 or more respondents across the survey countries.
