Description

Person who has a gender identity different to the gender assigned at birth and who wishes to portray gender identity in a different way to the gender assigned at birth.

Additional notes and information

It includes those people who feel they have to, or prefer to, or choose to, present themselves differently to the expectations of the gender role assigned to them at birth, whether by clothing, accessories, cosmetics or body modification. It includes, among many others, transgender persons who are between male and female, transsexuals, transvestites and cross-dressers.
