Ex-ante publicity notice for procurement procedure - Country factsheets on measuring femicide in the EU Member States
Description of the contract
The European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE) envisages awarding a low-value contract (€15 000.01- € 60 000.00) with a professional service provider in order to prepare country factsheets on measuring femicide in the EU Member States
Description of the requested services
The objective of the contract is to prepare 28[1] Country factsheets for the EU Member States, displaying the data and information gathered on femicide in each Member State within the frame of the Project EIGE/2019/OPER/01: “Advancing administrative data collection on Intimate Partner Violence and Gender-related Killings of Women”. EIGE collected information on data collection sources and methodologies to measure the gender-related killings of women (femicide) through questionnaires. The country factsheets will build upon these questionnaires and incorporate other sources whenever needed. Other sources might include the data and metadata collected by EIGE and by EUROSTAT when populating the indicator on intimate and family-related homicides.
Country factsheets will serve to communicate the conclusions on the analysis of the definitions, indicators and systems in place in the Member States, to measure and analyse the extent of gender-related killings of women (femicide).
