Aims and objectives
Handbook for all civil servants in each ministry to assist them in the gender mainstreaming of their policy field. It is a step by step approach and as such a practical guide. The handbook starts at a 'starters level', starting to explain what gender mainstreaming is about. This handbook was distributed to all civil servants. Also, in addition to the distribution of the handbook, a two day training on GM was organised for those civil servants who are the GM coordinators of their departments.
Results and impact
This handbook was distributed to all GM persons in the ministries and these persons were also invited and most attended the accompanying two day training program, which was evaluated positively by the participants. There was no evaluation yet on its impact in the GM proces in the ministries.
