Committee for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth recommends to recognize FGM as a sole ground for asylum worldwide; Inclusion of FGM within the criminal offence of Serious Bodily Injury; improvement of criminal persecution of FGM; public relations and education work for medical doctors; foundation of a „Round Table“; support of projects in the context of development assistance for the abolition of FGM
