Training for police officers
During the trainings, the following topics were tackled: * forms and effects of DV; * how to talk with victims, esp. children; * offender strategies; * danger prognosis; * information about intervention centres, shelters, etc.
Aims and objectives
The trainings are part of the vocational training of policemen/ policewomen. Teachers are police officers together with employees of the women’s shelters and Interventionscentres against DV/ violence protection centres. The general aim is to give the students basic information on DV, to strengthen their awareness for the topic and to learn about requirements for specific situations.
