Aims and objectives
TAK is a web portal focusing on gender equality issues and education in the workplace and in working life. It was created at the Kiljava Opisto 2006-2007 with partial funding from the EU. Since 2008, it is maintained by six main trade unions (SAK, Ammattiliitto Suora, Palkansaajajärjestö Pardia, Suomen lähi- ja perushoitajaliitto Super, Toimihenkilöunioni, Vakuutusväen Liitto).

TAK provides a knowledge base on gender equality, a question and answer service for gender equality-related issues, and tools for creating a gender equality plan for the workplace. Plus a discussion forum for workplace gender equality-related topics.
TAK has a library section where you can download some 40 titles (in .pdf format) on gender equality in the workplace, mainstreaming, work/family issues, sexual orientations, harassment etc. Most of the titles were published before 2007.
