Activities very much focus on street events during the international WRC campaign period that starts on 25 November (International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women) and ends 6 December (École Polytechnique massacre). Activities, in the centre of Helsinki and occasionally other cities, have included handing out leaflets with ribbons to and talking to men. In 2010, it joined forces with Nytkis, a feminist organisation, to merge the WRC street event with their Valoa, ei väkivaltaa (Light, not violence, http://www.valoaeivakivaltaa.fi/) street event.
