Activity of Suomen Queer-tutkimuksen Seura [Society for Queer Studies in Finland]
Aims and objectives
SQS is a research community and hence does not, as an organisation, take any standpoint on men's involvement in gender equality. The purpose of SQS is to advocate queer research and the critical, theoretical and empirical exploration of (non-heteronormative) genders and sexualities. This includes, for example, research on lesbian, gay, transgender and bi-sexual issues, and the study of heteronormativity as well as heterosexuality.
