Eldercare trends in Croatia
The paper addresses current trends and challenges in eldercare in Croatia (particularly in relation to home care), as well as a new technologies in eldercare and quality standards in eldercare. The eldercare system in Croatia traditionally relied on publically provided residential services, while the other forms of care were of more marginal character. Since the late 1990s for-profit and non-profit providers have increasingly entered this area, and today they provide an important share of services.
