Aims and objectives
To provide an assessment of the impact, effectiveness and blindspots of the Finnish gender equality policies in six different domains and to provide background information for the Government Gender Equality Report
Results and impact
The gaps pointed out in the reports were considered in the Government Gender Equality Report. Some of the recommendations of the reports were taken into account in the Government Gender Equality Report 2012-2020 and in the Government Gender Equality Action Plan 2012-2015.

The six studies conducted by external experts assessed the goals and measures of gender equality policies from the late 1990s until 2008 in the domains of employment, reconciliation between work, violence against women, higher education and research, education and training, and the capacity of institutional actors.
