Note on Brexit and UK-specific content on EIGE’s website
The United Kingdom left the EU on 31 January 2020, with the transition period covered by the EU-UK Withdrawal Agreement coming to a close on 31 December 2020.
As of 1 January 2021, the UK will no longer be referred to as an EU member state in new content published on EIGE’s website.
Existing UK-specific content will stay available:
- You can find this content in the various searches across the website (e.g. Good Practices), under the country option “Non-EU countries”. The old option “United Kingdom” has been removed.
- However, UK-specific content will no longer be updated after 31 December 2020.
