Activity of Oranje Fonds
Aims and objectives
The Oranje Fonds is the largest social fund in the Netherlands. It aims to promote participation in society. Our support brings people together, or enables them to find a new place in society. Annually, we invest € 26 million into our aims, of which a good € 23 million goes into direct financial contributions to almost 3000 social initiatives in the Netherlands, the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba. The Oranje Fonds supports social cohesion and social integration projects such as small-scale community initiatives, mentoring projects for young people, and language programmes. In addition to traditional methods of support for many projects, the Oranje Fonds seeks to carry out an instigative function. Our key priorities are:
- To enable development and innovation within our field of activity;
- To initiate or develop executive activity;
- To address the shortage of available activities and organisations.The Oranje Fonds fosters participation in society.
The Oranje Fonds aims to create social cohesion and promote social participation.

Activities
The Oranje Fond started a programme called Man 2.0, in which it supports 23 local projects on the emancipation of socially-isolated men in The Netherlands, both financially and with expertise. The 23 participating initiatives selected by the Orange Fund receive financial and substantive support in their development and cooperation in the areas of knowledge and methodology development around the theme. It is aimed at promoting the social participation and empowerment of indigenous and immigrant men aged 15 to 65 years, who have had little schooling and a socially isolated life. http://www.oranjefonds.nl/oranjefonds/Man2/
