Activity of Mentsük meg a férfiakat! Mozgalom (Save Men Movement)

The movement does advocacy and awareness-raising work for the improvement of Hungarian - mainly middle aged - men's health. Instruments used in the project to achievement objectives include changing roles in the family. Nevertheless the gender sensitivity of the project is not evident, as the organisation proposes to "save men" primarily by reliance on women and their "female" skills and position in the families. The organisation thus assigns the caring work and role to women.
